Stroud Rambling Club was founded in 1953 and from the outset the club’s main aim has been to provide regular guided walks to explore the Stroud valleys and surrounding countryside in good company.
It has always remained an independent club with its own constitution and committee whilst maintaining long-standing links with national bodies such as Ramblers and the Youth Hostel Association.
The club has developed a strong tradition of trips away, organising weekends and holidays within the UK and abroad.
There are occasional social events as part of our activities and you are welcome to join a couple of walks before joining.
